Helping Haiti

An earthquake (and many aftershocks) hit Haiti and left a wake of destruction and despair. My thoughts are with those families/friends who have lost loved ones in this terrible tragedy. I will pray for them and those who have not been found yet. While I might not be able to do much, I can at least do this.

All I did was just make a straight list of places to contact. Most of this information was obtained from and can be found in greater detail at Thinking Of Rob. They may be a fan site for Robert Pattinson, but they have gone above and beyond in order to help get the word out as to what is going on and how people can help. Please take a moment to visit their site. Also, you can follow them on Twitter. Now, if you can make a donation it would be ever so greatly appreciated. Please help!

Since I'm a fan of Twilight/Robert Pattinson, I couldn't help but include fan sites and Twilight stars' Twitters that are helping with spreading the word:

Thinking Of Rob
Twilightish
Twilight Lexicon
Peter Facinelli
Ashley Greene
Edi Gathegi
Rachelle Lefevre
Justin Chon
Chaske Spencer

Non Twi-related people (click them to go to their Twitter) helping spread the word:

Jared Leto
30 Seconds To Mars
The Echelon House

And one of my favorite actors, Norman Reedus, tweeted about a possible benefit auction. This makes me happy in my heart. I will update as soon as he does.

"benefit and auction to be announced for hait next few days . anyone want some photos?" (via Twitter)

UPDATE: Norman is now going to donate to Haiti the money he makes selling stuff on his website.

"http://bit.ly8VmCN9 SALES GOING TO HAITI RELIEF. GETEM WHILE THEYRE HOT. (some new artwork on emtoo)" (via Twitter)
